What is Black Titanium?
Black Titanium is a specially developed metal alloy of 51 % zirconium and 49 % titanium. The raw material already has an anthracite-grey colour – only through an elaborate thermal process at over 1,000 °C does it acquire its characteristic deep-black surface. Because the material is so hard, even engravings are particularly demanding and are carried out using modern laser technology.
